Hi! My name is Vaia Piperi and I have a BA in Physical Education and Sport. I graduated from the University of East Anglia in 2012 and since then my goal is to educate people about the importance of being active, through movement and training. Even though I work as a personal trainer for nearly 10 years, I love learning and expanding my knowledge by attending seminars, reading and experimenting. My favorite thing in this field is seeing people change in every aspect when they start incorporating fitness into their everyday lives. People start experiencing a number of physiological, psychological and social benefits as soon as they start moving. My aim is to change people’s lifestyles in a positive and creative way, to help them become healthier, stronger and fitter. The development of the mind needs to be balanced by the development of the body. Only then intelligence and skill can function at the peak of their capacity, when the body is healthy and strong. People can then perform better at their work, as they become more self – confident, have more stamina, are more resistant to illnesses, and are less depressed. My aim is to help people achieve their goals, to help an athlete perform better in his sport , to help a mum carry out daily tasks without undue fatigue, to help an old man feel younger. I strongly agree with Socrates quote that “it is a shame of a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable”. The only way to prevent the diseases of inactivity is to remain active-not for a month or a year, but for a lifetime. Pablo Picasso once said, “actions is the foundational key to all success” , so by moving your butts from the couch you can start a better life, a more fulfilling and successful life. Join me in this journey, and I will help you explore your limits and train in a safe, effective and efficient manner!
